Where do you find replacement bolts? I went to the local hardware store to find some bolts that i'm missing on my bike and I could find metric 6mm flanged bolts in the size(s) that I wanted but only with a 10mm head, no 8mm like the stockers. Anybody had luck finding those bolts at a hardware store?

Last time I looked , http://www.rockymountainmc.com had a sale on an assortment of those 8mm dirtbike bolts on their specials page or whatever they call it. I think it was from Tusk, and was around 150 of 'em for $13.00 or sumpin.

eBay is always listing bolt packages under several model dirt bikes. They are all stainless steel too, I belive.

I had a VERY hard time finding bolts for the rear suspension of my 88. I looked online at numerous places and called a dozen hardware vendors. The bolts either had the wrong shoulder lenght or wrong thread pitch or wrong thread lenght or wrong head style. After a few days I bit the bullet and payed $20.00 ea. for them at the stealership.

Hopefully the H model hardware is a more standard stuff.

I bought some very nice stainless steel shoulder bolts when I replaced my stock brush guards with the tusk units. I got them from McMastercarr.com. They are not the cheapest around but you can buy one or two pieces instead of a box of 50.

I looked at that same RMMC link just a couple days back.

I bought a 'bag-o-bolts' awhile back from an ebay auction. The guy was parting out a KDX...threw all the bolts he took out/off in a bag..sold it for something like $25.

I've used enough out of the pile to make it worth the purchase...and most of the pile is still there!
