Should I put the trailer up on blocks?

Hi Gang,

I tucked the trailer under the back porch for the winter.

Should I put it up on blocks? Does it really matter?

Thanks for any input,

Won't matter. Putting it in the shade there will help though, as sun light will damage tires over a period of time more than setting on the ground will.
But if you want to put it on blocks, it won't hurt anything either.

if it's gonna sit there for a long time, the tires could develop flat spots. Unlikely for a trailer though, it's not heavy enough.

yeah but if he's anything like me that trailer (if its allowed to sit long enough) will be used to store who knows what on, all adding to the weight

i would put it on blocks, just to be on the safe side

That thing is fine like that. Just make sure the ends of the frame pipe are sealed with tape. This keeps mice from crawling in there and making a nest. They will eat the tail light wires. Dont ask how I know.
