I have no brand loyalty at all, except the KDX itself, of course. I still think it's one of the most relaible and versatile bikes ever built. I have developed a bit of a dislike for honda over the last few years, although my first bikes were hondas, and I loved them.

You can always gear the KDX to get a little more top speed.

My only loyalty is to the local dealer, who has been helping me out with a discount. It just so happens he carries blue and I lean that way. I would probably buy there anyway, since it is 10 miles from the house and the other ones are about 30. But I look at every color when I am shopping. And with the internet, you don't even have to leave the house to get parts.

The only thing I would not consider is a used 125. Had too many engine problems with the one we got for my nephew.
This is my rifle, this is my gun, the YZ to go fast, the KDX is for fun!
