fuel stabilizer

anything wrong with using fuel stabilizer in our bikes ('01 220) when winterizing?

my cousins yam wr450 manual says specifically not to.

I use it in every tank. Try the marine stabil. It is supposed to be better for ethanol.

I use sea foam in every tank and no problems. Also, my brother runs the marine stabil in his 450r honda with no problems.

I have used it every winter for years, a lot better that cleaning carb jets. I will check my WR manual, I want to find out why they say that.

I run AV gas. No need for stabilizer.
