on my '01 220 i have a stock dunlop tire on the front and a milleville on the back. was wondering if you guys have any suggestions for replacement tires (especially the front). the trails i ride are mostly a mix of hard and loose soil with stretches of sand. i am riding in southern ontario, canada if that helps.

anything else in the front will be better than stock, they really suck.

I use a Pirelli Scorpion pro on the front, great all around performance.

I like the Maxxis SI and Dunlop Geomax MX71 for fronts. Rear the Maxxis IT.

I run a maxxis desert IT up front with a maxxis IT in the rear. Great combo and they wear really well

Michelin Cross Comp (Soft) S12 in the front and Dunlop D773 rear ( discontinued I think  )

Great tires for Minnesota conditions where I ride, lots of rocks and sand. Performed well in the slop we had this summer too. Lots of rain this past spring.

+1 on the Maxxis IT. I run them on the front and rear. Great tires if you ride wide variety of soils. I have a full year on mine with virtually no wear on the front. I still have about 85-90% of the rear.

I have a Michelin ac- dot on mine and it holds corners very well and is wearing very well. I'm in eastern ontario lots of rocks and rocks. It is slippery when wet out though. No missing knobs or chunks.
