85 kdx spark

Just got an 85 kdx. On first ride a magnet came loose on flywheel and damaged the stator. The magnet is mostly intact with a few small chips. I jb welded the magnet back in place and wired a new stator from ricky stator, still no spark. What should I check next? Thanks
