Whats up kdx army?? I have an e series kdx 91, rb carb mod, head mod, fatty pipe, boysen rad valve, uni filter. When I put all pieces together this year the bike ran first kick and pulled like crazy!! But after a few good rides everytime I start it up it fouls a plug. Now just today it fouled 2 plugs while riding. And I found my bottom end lacking the sharp snap it had. to me it makes no sence that this could be a jetting issue because of how good it ran on the first 3 or 4 rides. Any one ever had this problem before?? Thanks for the help

Uh, I think Wibby is referring to whether it is an NGK, Denso, etc, and the plug designation like BR9ES, or a BR8EG, etc. Which one it is does make a difference.

The plug I run is a br8es. On the weekend I lowered my pilot jet from a 40 to a 38 im going to see if that makes a difference, I also raised my needle clip up one notch

When my "H" series bike started fouling plugs, went crazy with everything I could think of - air filter, reeds, top end, jetting, etc.. It turned out to be the source coil was weak. I bought a replacement from Ricky Stator for $70 and my bike was transformed into a 1 kick starter, never fouling a plug - ever.
Check the resistance of your source coil. The reading should be something like 270-340 ohms. Mine read 150-ish. Look to the shop manual for the correct specs for your bike.
