Premix gas can
I was surfing the net one day and saw a gas can that had a section for measuring oil and then you add the gas. Now I can't find it. Anybody seen these?

Perfect size for guys who don't need a full 5 gallons of mixed gas. I could use a can like that for enduros. I usually need less than 2 gallons by gas stop.
I hope to find it cheaper than that though. Maybe the local ACE hardware store. If I find it anywhere, I'll post back.

'Leak proof seal'?
How much will it resemble a beach ball when the sun gets to it?
How much will that throw off the lines on 'd-tank for correct ratios?
No vent to use while pouring. Oh yeah...there's the other cap (to lose!!).
Looks like a function-follows-form-thing to me........
Oh...wait...no one asked for any opinion..just where to find it (not my opinion...no proctology jokes please...).
....sorry 'bout that.
Do you have a RatioRite? Get a lid for it...sold separately.

I think the can has it's uses: A single devise to measure and despense premix in the field. I'm off to find one for enduro races but since I don't always get my can back, I would like to find a cheaper source than that.
In the old days, I could just use an old antifreeze gallon jug, but these days, the buzzards watching every movement have determined that transporting fuel in non DOT appoved containers is not legal, subjecting the sponsoring club to a lawsuit for moving my gas container to the gas stop.

$21.95?!?!!?!? I don't know if the leak-proof / leak resistant gas can laws really jack up the price elsewhere, but I would think that a $5 two gallon can, $1 large syringe from the Tractor Supply Company (or similar veterinary related store) and some cheap tubing would suffice. I would just draw out whatever you need for two gallons of gas, squirt it in the empty gas jug and then go get two gallons of gas.
Besides that, get a 5 gallon can and a 2 gallon can, pour 3 in the bike and 2 in the little jug.

I always carry some old 40:1 weadeater oil bottles(filled w/ my 2T oil of choice). Treats one gallon, but I have a bunch. I've 'disposed' of so much 2T fuel over the past few years, I'm only mixing 1-2 gals at a time anymore...In a STEEL can so the leftovers stay somewhat fresh for a while.
