I have bits of dirt in my rear brake reservoir.

Post by Fatherof2 »

I cleaned the cover before removing it. When I did, there were bits of dirt on the bottom of the reservoir. The cover was on securely.

I did a full bleed in the early spring, and there was not even a speck of dirt in there when I was done. How does this happen? Should I do a full bleed? Does the dirt cause damage? The fluid was as clear as the day I put it in there. The fluid level was proper as well.

Thanks for any input,

David

I use a Q-tip to get the small bits of dirt out.
