Funky Radiator Cap.

Post by Fatherof2 »

Out for a ride yesterday, when a buddies bike boiled over. He added water, and continued on. He did not fully secure the cap, and lost it in the woods a short time later.

Not wanting to end the day, here is what we came up with.

I like that fix.

It's just a 4-stroke thing.

Around here Enduros are long, tight and hot. The smell of antifreeze used to overpower the smell of 2-stroke oil. Not so much anymore.

One of the guys I ride with has a pretty clean 300 and it seems like the top of all the steep tough hills the bike needs a breather!

Is that because they are taking up smoking again? :supz:

I did the same using electrical wire, some aluminum foil and plastic bags. Held up for a day of easy riding.
