Got the rear shock swapped last night and the bike all put back together.
Also got my skidplate put on, new master cylinder lid screws, and IMS Superstock pegs.
For the IMS SuperStock pegs, I only had to grind off part of the left side peg to get it to sit flat and perpendicular to the frame. Right side didn't need any modification. Springs needed to be slightly bent in the vice to fit, but that was pretty easy.
Got my Trailtech kickstand yesterday. The part number on the box said 5400-00 but I may in fact be an idiot. At first I didn't think it was the right one... Now that I look at the pics again, I see what I have to do to mount it... guess I can take care of that later.
I'll be in the garage all night tonight putting the 95 back together. Should be ready to ride (or sell) by the end of the night.
I'll try to snap a couple pics of the 04 later...

Got the jetting taken care of this weekend. She RIPS now. Didn't mess with the KIPS detent screw at all.
Jetted at 45/150, needle 2nd clip from top. About 2 turns out on air screw.
No other mods planned for the time being...but I would like to get it street-legal sooner rather than later...

Well I won a set of 2001 KX250 forks, triples, axle, and wheel this weekend off ebay...
Will be putting my stock forks (with heavier springs) and triples (minus steering stem) and wheel up for sale in about a week or so.
I'm in Cortland NY but travel to Elmira and Watertown rather frequently in case you're nearby...

So I got my forks and wheel yesterday and while I had noticed something weird when I was checking out the wheel in the ad, I didn't think much of it.
Well it arrived and everything looks great except: There's a speedo/odo drive.
Why would there be a odo drive on a KX 250 wheel? I checked the fiche for a 2001 wheel and didn't see any provisions for an odo drive...
The ad from ebay: http://tinyurl.com/44rgvpx
Any thoughts?
I'm going to test-fit the wheel to the forks later to be sure, but figured I'd ask here first...

Hmm. Odd. I have never seen any stock MX bike with an Odo drive unit. I would doubt that is a KX wheel. I would have to see what it looks like under that Odo drive. Maybe the guy just slapped it on the axle, but that would mean that the original spacer is missing.
