spark arrestor
FMF Powercore silencer/spark arrestor. Son is going to ride some trails in a state park. I see that state parks require spark arrestors. My question is...does anyone no for a fact that the FMF Powercore silencer/spark arrestor is allowed?

It should be permanently stamped on the silencer. If not, contact FMF and ask them.

If what factoryX is the case then you will need to either use an add-on spark arrestor like the Cobra Sparky or get a different silencer.

That sounds about right. I have the Turbinecore and it has the forestry approved stamp on it. If I had to buy one again I would look into the Q.factoryX wrote:FMF Powercore is not a spark arrestor, but Turbinecore and Q silencers are.
P.S. FactoryX, It looks like you need new reeds from the pic in your post's.

certain 4 stroke power cores are S/A or you can buy screen for them, but I am 99% sure power core 1 and 2 are not as I have used both.
