Rev Pipe, no bottem end

Post by N8Strine »

I have had a woods pipe on my bike for a long time and raced hare scrambles with my kdx220 which is ported and has a rad valve. Well I figured I would try the Rev pipe since I hear that is the pipe to have on the 220, well I got it and put it on, notice a pretty big difference in top end but it really cut the bottom end power which I really did not like. Overall I don't like the pipe because it is alot fatter up top and is kinda in the way, and it sticks down alot further than the woods pipe. I am gonna put the woods pipe back on. I can ride alot tighter woods sections, pop over logs way easier and so forth. Also riding in the woods I prefer to ride a gear up and lug it rather than try to ride a lower gear and have the rpms up high which is what you kinda have to do with the Rev pipe. So I will be putting my pipe up for sale soon.!!!!

Well yes but I was told that it was close to the woods pipe bottom end with more top end, but I only saw the top end.

My RB'd 220 with rev pipe has more bottom end than my friends 220 with a woods pipe. Mine has more top end too so it's a win-win.

Let me know what you'd sell the Rev pipe for if you decide to get rid of it.
