Hi Gang,

I just picked up a Scotts damper, and wanted to run some risers as well. I went with the Rox two inch risers, but the damper wont fit under them. Rox sells a one inch extension that will allow the damper to fit. However, I will now be running three inches of riser. I am 5'10'' and have long legs, but everything I have read suggests that guys that are 6'6'' run three inches of rise.

Any thoughts for someone in my situation?

How high does the Scott's sit?

There's 3" between the nut and the bars

Unfortunately there is a plate that the Scotts sits on that is taking up all the room.

It seems that I have 4 options.

1. Run 3 inches of rise and be able to run the Scotts as well.

2. Run 2 inches of rise and no Scotts.

3. Run no rise at all, but use the Scotts.

4. Order the Scotts riser for 250 bucks and run both.

I guess I have to give the first one a shot, and see how it feels.

3 inches of rise sure seems like a lot on paper.

Wish I had the time today, to really get into it.

Well, I tried 3 inches of rise. It is WAY too much.

May have to skip the risers.

Thanks rbates, but I think I finally got it sorted. Just going to go with a higher bend. It should help. Can't wait to get it set up. Hope it will be worth the time and money.
