It rattles

Post by Charles De Mar »

New piston, KIPS cleaned and inspected, clean and repacked silencer, rebuilt shock, forks have been refurbished but need new springs, new chain(o-ring), sprockets, brake pads, handle bars, grips, air filter. I need to bleed the brakes they are very soft, new tires and the hand guards straightened and put back on.

Very nice man, she definitely looks clean. I'm definitely liking that pipe guard. I just rode this weekend without a guard on my brand new FMF Fatty expansion chamber. Didn't get dented at all but I'll definitely need a guard soon, for piece of mind and all. Good work, glad to see you're almost finished.

Thats about where I'm at with my '92, give or take a couple bucks and a few swear words. I just went riding today at Lost Trails OHV park out in the Pocono's in Pennsylvania. It was extremely rocky and muddy, definitely trails more designed for ATV's than dirt bikes. After all the money and swear words, and a brand new FMF Fatty pipe I put on Saturday, I couldn't be any happier with how she performed. She was FLAWLESS and I loved it. These bikes definitely take care of you if you take care of them.

I don't miss the muddy Pa riding. Living in the west is great while we still have places to ride.
I will be on this most of the time. the kdx is a wife/buddy bike.

Didn't know you used to leave out here on the East Coast. Where abouts?

Also, I thought out west you have tons of places to ride, more so than here. Is there a chance they're going to shut you guys down out west or what?

They shut down more trails every year. It still blows away Pa. I grew up north of Pittsburgh. Left in 95 after 23 years.

I know, i've seen your riding video's. Can't imagine what its like to ride out there. It sux they're shutting trails down on you. I don't understand why though, theres so much Nat'l Forest and open land there its ridiculous.
