Easy ? for you pros ...
is there a special chain lube i should use or a special oil? the ol' girl has sat too long w/o tlc, that now her chain is adryin' out.
thanks.
i am about to take her handle bars off for straightening. pretty sure i can do it w/ a vice and rubber mallet.
all suggestions and input are greatly appreciated.

I've tried that dry wax stuff and didn't particularly like it. Just about any chain lube you can find at the local dealership should work OK. I can't find any of what I've been running (I guess my son has taken it all with him) and I don't remember what brand it was. It may have been Klotz as I use a lot of Klotz products. Almost anything is better than nothing though. Spit on.... never mind. Different application again.
I am running DID X-Ring chains on everything except our TT-R230 (haven't had to replace it yet). I use the same lube on all of them. I'll find out what it is and reply again.

The Dupont stuff works a lot better than say that maxima chain wax crap
It does not build up like the maxima does. The maxima wax is a pita to remove and seems to gum up the links
In my experience, wd40 gets past the o-rings and flushes the grease out
