Number plate backing?

Post by MadMax »

Where can I get pre-cut number plate backing (sides and headlight) for my '95 200? Anyone?

Have you actually clicked on any of those links juliend?? On the first page only one ebay add offers them and that is in the UK. Not exactly readily available as you elude to in your rude post...

I thought the point of a forum like this was to ask questions, not get berated because you didn't search google. Why even have a forum if you can't ask for help/advice?

Easy coop, was just having a little early morning fun. Rudeness was not the intention. Am I going to have to put a sarcasm disclaimer as my sig like Wibbs??!!

And yes, I clicked on several of the links. The ebay ones are fine, and the n-style ones just below are very good as well. That is what I used, and have been very happy with them. Their site is a bit irritating to navigate though.

Thanks guys. Yep, I've googled and googled. So far, the ones on ebay from overseas is the only thing I've seen. N-Style doesn't actually show (that I saw) KDX200 blank pre-cut plate backings. It's kind of odd that we have one of the most popular bikes of all time and can't frigging find anyone with reasonable priced stickers to go on a number plate and headlight shroud.

I looked there. The closest thing I've found, and what I'll end up getting, was universal vinyl backing. I'll just have to create some templates and cut it myself.

Hmmm... I'm not smart enough to find them for whatever reason. Quick question, are those KLX forks? If so, which fork guards did you get? I have a set of the forks on the way but need to get the guards too.

those are 1997 KX125 forks. I used Acerbis fork guards for the same year bike. I built a KX/KDX hybrid so I no longer run that setup
