Does the impeller nut have a torque setting?

Post by Fieldie »

G'day!
I had cooling issues & found my impeller nut was loose.
Does the nut that holds the water pump impeller have a torque setting or is the tightwr the better? (1997 Kdx200)
Cheers!!!!!

Everything has a torque setting except for the steering head collar. It will be in the service manual.

The impeller nut is to be torqued to 61 in-lb.

Now, go buy the manual! The online version can be purchased at the top left of this screen or you can get one off Ebay.
