first time thru this so please excuse me. I am reassembling top end with newly plated cylinder. Couple questions.
1. The shaft that drives the subvalves on the KIPS has a removeable gear on the left side of the motor. this gear is free to rotate in any position with no key or flat (seems odd or am I missing something?). Is the nut on this shaft the only thing that keeps it from rotating? If so do I just align things and tighten it there? Do I use thread locking agent on this nut?
2. Do I use thread locking agent on the two bolts that hold the main valve down in the cylinder?
