Millenium questions?
I'm assuming I need a replate due to the age and lack of maint by PO of my bike, so I am doing some research. Millenium seems good according to this site and they are the closest to me.
Who has used them and how did you like the results?
Also, they have an interesting cylinder exchange program. Has anyone ever tried that?

Thanks.

IMO I would be careful with any "exchange program". You might send them a good cylinder and get back scrap metal. I have no experience with them but they are going to send you some one elses cylinder and it may have a heli coil in every hole.Mr. Wibbens wrote:Lets see some pics of your cylinder first

I have no experience with exchanging cylinders, but I don't think most of these companies will take and re-use just anything.
Here are the conditions that Millenium looks for in #3: http://www.mt-llc.com/Ordering/exchange.html
From their perspective, trying to replate a trashed cylinder is counterproductive. It would just hurt their reputation if they are sending out trashed cylinders.
With that being said, I would still always send my cylinder in. But unless you mark it, you really won't know if you are getting the same one back.
