Guys,
I cant seem to reconnect my odometer cable down on the front wheel. I just cant seem to get the prong down deep enough to allow the phillips head screw to secure it properly. I can see that there are two tiny prongs on the end of the cable that must be inserted properly. I feel like they are lined up, but it just does not seem to be going down deep enough. Does anyone have any advice?
Thanks very much,
D.

Take it off at the odo, then you can turn the inner cable by hand and slide it down into place
