Thanks Mr. Wibbens,
I think I'll try it on my 220r... if it's look too ugly I'll change it next winter!

I'll post pics when it's done!

The 91 I just sold had a powdercoated black frame. Looked slick. I don't think I've seen an H series with a black frame. I think it'll look good.

My 89 kdx is going nowhere. The 91 was traded for a 95 ford bronco. It was kind of a rag anyway.

Oh OK. For a minute there I thought we were going to have to ban you from the internet!

As you can probably tell, I really like the KDX. I've ridden a few of them through the years that other people owned (all basically stock or completely stock air cooled bikes - i.e. OLD) and liked them OK. Now that I have a KDX myself and have a plan for mods needed to really bring it up to snuff (thanks to THIS site), I don't plan on ever being without a KDX. My CR250 will go before the KDX will.

Why a trail tech kick stand and not just the factory one?

The frame looks great. I am not a fan of polished parts on a dirtbike, but you did nice work for sure.

In fact, the factory is a piece of sh**, I had to tape it to the swingarm at the end to make sure it doesn't come out when turning or jumping... ( I already tried to weld and shim it but nothing worked.. ) Just like the kickstart lever..

Looks sweet. I've considered doing that as well. What's up w/ the rear tire? Is that a trials tire?

Yes it's a trial tire : Dunlop D803.

Next winter I'll powercoat the frame, this year was a color test. I think black is really nice but spray paint didn't hold well!!
