i will admit i was wrong, polishing all along the ports does create a power loss

neatening up ports and matching will always equate to more power, even if it is only 1 or 2 hp it doesn't cost much to take a dremel to your barrel :p

the reason i was asking was cause sometimes you open a bike up and find the casting to be completely abysmal

that being said, what a bunch of $#@&ing wankers, this has got to be one of the most closed minded forums i have ever visited :butthead:

YOU HAVE AN AIR STRIKER WHAT AN IDIOT?!?!!? MY SUPERSTITIOUS BELIEFS SAY THEY ARE CRAP AND YOU ARE LESSER IN MY BOOKS FOR HAVING ONE OR EVEN FOR HAVING THE WILL TO TRY IT[/quote]

Actually the air striker R&B modded carb is a KNOWN good mod from
a known reputable supplier.
Was there any performance gains ?
Possible very slight loss of top end/gain on the lower end but on a wider spectrum it was more forgiving on jetting and my bike would run great in temps from 45-95 with just a tweak on the R&B air screw.

On the other side of things I did sell my old carb on e-bay for about
160.00 so really no big deal to me....

Is this all upsetting to You ? Making you a bit Psycho or something ?

The only idiot seen here is the NON PAYING FREELOADING
funker that comes on this site and asks a question, argues with
everyone that give their opinion then calls everyone a bunch of funking wankers.

Speaking of Air Strikers..... I fought with the Mikunis on our CR250s until I couldn't stand it any longer. Bought the JD jet kit for them and that helped tremendously, but I still had to re-jet, fiddle with the air screw, etc., when the temperature changed. Finally bought Air Strikers for both of them. I will be buying an Air Striker from RB-Designs for the KDX as soon as I can afford to.

thats because i didnt ask opinions, i asked for experiences and everyone decided to give me their opinion. when this site actually becomes worth my time i will happily donate just as i have done for other forums, but it is just not a friendly place

i have read many articles swaying against air strikers, though how they are explained makes sense to me. what annoys me is that anything that isn't an "established mod" is criticized to death before even being tried

that being said, i just clicked the $#@&ing donate button "this merchant is currently unable to accept money" so stop your whining.

Guys, chill. Geez.

If someone wants to try something out, great. We should support them in their endeavor. However, if you post up that you are going to do/try something on a forum you should expect opinions at minimum. That is just the nature of forums large and small. I belong to over 20 online forums and this is by far the friendliest out of all of them.

Now, everyone start acting like adults before I start kicking people in their nards!
