Pipe installation

Post by kdx78 »

Hey guys this might sound like a stupid question but I just got a gnarly rev pipe for my 03' kdx and was wondering how difficult it will be to put on. The bike is currently in storage so I figured I would ask before I break anything lol. Thanks

really easy.
You may have to adjust some of the tabs but that's about it.

Are they bendable by hand or should they be heated up?

The "tabs" (that I think he is talking about) have a bolt in one that goes into the frame and a bolt in the other that goes into the pipe. Just loosen them up from the frame when you put the new pipe on and once everything is started they should tighten up good. The new pipe may not fit just like the old one but should be fine.
