I have a 2006 KDX 200. The handle bars are a little bent. I picked up a new Sunline 7/8 bar. I was going to switch over the controls and had a thought. Should I get some new parts. I thought about getting a better throttle tube and brake/clutch levers/perches. I can't see to find a lot to fix the KDX. I sure lots will fit but most only list stuff for the MX race bikes. Can you folks tell me what is good quality but not really really expensive stuff. I would like to keep my existing clutch and brake cables. If this gets into a ton of $$ I will just reuse what I have.

Also what other models use the same stuff as the KDX?

I would only replace parts if you need to. No sense spending money on things that really are not going to help how your bike performs. I say save the extra cash until you can pop for some suspension work!
