Got this switch ordered. Realized my switch behind the cowl idea would mean I would have power to the VR constantly, regardless of lights being on or off. Unless I used two switches.....

So I should be able to replace the KILL with this

And:

Blue wire to VR (on in both high and low pos)
Yellow to one light
green to other light

So VR should only be required to function when switch is in hi or lo position, and I should have one headlight on at a time. Eventually I will replace with some of those low volt LED's and wire it to run one/both.

bummer. I seem to be getting no juice at all from the lighting coil. Still digging for my meter so I can test resistance.

So the lighting coil was fried. I know it was not fried the last time I had the engine down. I procured a 1994 VR to use, and am afraid that may be what fried my coil. Anyone know how to test this thing before I wire up my new stealthy lighting coil????

Stealthy coil as compared to what is left of my stocker... As you can see, they added plates.
