Yes, I did. Put right at 45 miles (72km) on it today and it worked perfectly. I have to say that I love this thing!Dodger wrote:Did you test the "sorted" clutch out under "trail" conditions for a few hours, or just tested it around the block?
Things I noticed... It will pull good even if you are a gear high but performed freakin' awesome when in the proper gear. Acceleration in the soft stuff and sand was much improved. Actually, acceleration was improved everywhere. Bringing up the front end was easier IMO. I had to change how I rode corners as the rear doesn't spin as much as normal. It just tends to hook up and you rocket out. It made getting on the pipe easier, and with the traction in the corners, you can fly! I could not stall the bike no matter what I tried. It helped with my endurance. I didn't feel nearly as tired after riding a hard trail compared to a regular clutch. Honestly, this thing just rocked everywhere!
OK, for the possible negatives. Really, there weren't any negatives but these are my thoughts on what might be needed due to using the Dyna. I think changing the oil more frequently will be required. Probably will go through friction plates quicker but that remains to be seen. Also, the durability of the Dyna is really still an unknown. It appears very well built so I guess we shall see!
In conclusion, I am so happy I bought one of these! It has instantly made me a better rider. I can charge harder and longer than I ever have before. It covers up the little mistakes and helps keep you moving forward. Now, actually having ridden with one, I can't ever imagine riding without it!
