Carb Cable Boot

Post by kkim »

The rubber boot at the top of the carb that the cable slides through... can it be purchased separately or does it come with a throttle cable when you buy one? My cable is fine, but that rubber boot is split in about 3 places, so I'm looking to replace only the boot, if possible. I don't see it listed in the parts diagrams.

thanks,
Kelly

beware, I got a cable from RMATV (can't recall the exact brand, was the cheap one) and the boot was too big, I could have made it to work but lucky enough my old one was ok so i swapped them.

Thanks for the replies. I'll order an OEM cable and avoid any problems.
