Powermadd Bar Riser?
Anyone here ever try the Powermadd risers on their KDX?
I just ordered one (2") that should allow me to raise the bars up and forward, but I don't see any reviews by any KDX riders.
Just curious.

For me, the main reason I want a riser for the KDX is:KDXsg wrote:I am ignorance to bar riser. but who will need a bar riser?
1) short arm?
2) rider often in standing position?
3) just dont want to hunch the rider back?
4) or just that it can slide the fork up the triple more?

I ride some tight woods with some steep hills, so I'm standing quite a bit. My other woods bike (KTM) has bars that are about 2" higher than my KDX - I like the feel (and my stance) better on the KTM, so I am trying to setup the KDX to sit just like it.

I've never ridden with the rubber mounts so I couldn't tell you
E series has solid bar mounts and I made cones for my new bars out of UHMW
If they don't work I'll buy the Honda cones, they are spose to be real hard

Well, just to report back...I picked up the pivot-risers and installed them.
Really simple installation. The risers feel like a good quality piece and they place the bars in perfect position for me (I'm about 6' tall).
I didn't have to change any of the cables and there's no clearance problem at all.
I rode it around the backyard and the bars in a position I really like. Very similar position to my KTM. My son likes the position change as well. Hopefully, I can get it in the woods this weekend.
Thanks for all the input.
