Radiator hoses and Footpegs.

Post by michael »

IM chasing Radiator hoses for my 90 kdx200. Kawasaki say no longer available and i cant find any aftermarket ones....

And footpegs, im specifically after pivot pegz, apparently they only make them for 97 and up?

Would be great if someone could help me out here, thanks a heap in advance.

Michael.

I have heard, but cannot confirm, that Yamaha TTR125 pegs and certain years of the Yamaha YZ will work with very little modification is that helps.

As for hoses, that could be a tough one. Try looking at other makes/models that the hoses are the same diameter with similar bends and cut down to fit if longer than stock. You also might be surprised at some of the automotive hoses that you can find at Autozone and others that you could make work.

I'd take your current hoses down to your local auto parts store and ask if you can look through the racks.

I had to do that for my hybrid. It only took a minute. The hose I found was about 3' long but had just the right bends in the middle. $13 and cut it up.

If you can find my old thread on wide footpegs for E series KDX. I listed out several yamaha models that will fit with no trouble. If there's a pivot pegz for any of those models, they should work on your bike.

Here you go bud. Scroll down a bit, you'll see the list of yamaha models that use the same pegs that I fit on my 89. You can also see them mounted on my bike, although the set I used are old and a bit beat up.

Like I said, if you can find pivot pegs to fit any of the bikes listed, they should work on your kdx e.

So I spoke to a supplier for pivot pegs, and they reckon h-series and e-series are listed as the same part number?....might order them and see what happens.

H and E series pegs are way different pegs. They won't interchange.
