Without Vince

Post by frankenschwinn »

This site would not have existed.

There are other plces dedicated to the KDX. No others were as welcoming.
This site brought me to the KDX and educated me with knowledge from all around the world but a whole lot of it came directly from Vince. He was witty but never smarmy. Even when my questions have been dumb he always answered and prompted me to look deeper myself. As a result of Vince and this site I went from not riding for 20 years to buying a KDX. Changing the front end. Building a hybrid and many mods along the way. Without this site I don't know if I would have done these things.

Thank you for being passionate enough to do this an create a community of people who feel the same way. Thank you for spending your time, money and energy on this community. Your presence will be sorely missed.

Yep, by far this is my favorite forum to visit and it is because of Vince and the community he built here. I hope that we will continue on here and remember Vince for all the knowledge, wit, and friendship he shared with us.

Did I miss something here? Is Vince going somewhere? Boy I sure hope not!

"EDIT"
Did I just read correctly in the Ask the Moderator section?
Did we loose our friend?

This is simply horrible.
Prayers to his family and especially his two daughters.

Ride on my friend, ride on, for your trail will never really end.
Peace and Love Vince

Truly sad news. May your tank always be full, and your trails never end!
