Just wanted to give everyone an update: I recently installed 607's in my KDX and running 42 pilot and 155 main, needle in the 2nd position from the top. Power improved a little overall, but still disappointed. The tranny oil changes from a clear to a milky color after a few hours of run time, I'm pretty sure that isnt normal (It's been a problem ever since I got the bike). Also my tranny oil level slowly disappears, and I don't have any oil leaks anywhere. I'm thinking the crank seals have gone bad, afterall the KDX was put into storage for over 10 years prior to my purchase of the bike. I minus well replace the water pump seal along with every other seal and gasket in the bottom end whenever I take everything apart

the milky oil is a water pump seal. The disappearing oil is probably bad crank seals, yep. Sounds like you're on the right track.

that explains a lot, that and the water pump seal and also why my bike is smoking a little bit more
