Nice bike, but you may want to blow that huge dent out of your desert pipe. I never understood the whole "black/gold/blue etc. rims" thing. As soon as you spoon on some new tires, won't they be all scratched up?

It's not a dent, it's an optical illusion caused by the camera and the angle of the sun.. I'll put a woods pipe on it as soon as the snow melts.

Everyone knows black rims are lighter, stronger and faster than the rest :supz: .

I put black Excels on the CR250 my son races (HE wanted them - not me!). If you're just a little careful you won't scratch them installing new tires.

The black rims kind of grow on you. I have stock rims on my CR250 but I've been thinking that black rims would look good on a green and black Kawasaki. I may install some black Excels on my KDX once I'm done swapping the forks, doing a top end job, having RB Designs work his magic on the head and carb, replacing all the bearings in the suspension linkage, etc., etc., etc...... i.e. I like the look of the black rims and think that they would look good on my KDX200, but they aren't very high on my to do list.

I beg to differ. The color black has been proven to be faster in laboratory tests. Lighter too. Sorry the facts don't lie.

they always look dirty to me, so why bother

Plus the only way to make a 220 go fast is push it out of an airplane at about 10,000'

Black wheels are lighter and faster. Scientists have a formula to measure such things. Just like they can measure and predict Global Warming.
