bearing size???
The small needle bearing on the left end of the trans. input shaft of my 220 has self destructed. My local dealer got me the wrong one and the right one is 3 weeks away. If I knew the dimensions I may be able to get one from a bearing shop but there's nothing left of the old one to measure. Can any one tell me the measurements? By measuring the case and shaft I've determined it is 16mm inside dia.x 24mm outside dia. x 12mm long but i'd like to confirm that before i try it Thanks

Good luck
I needed one last year and had to get it overnighted from Montana
I think it's just a Kawi part
We tried matching it up at a bearing shop but a 16x24x12 was either too big or they did not have anything that size

You may also want to take a good, close look at the surface of the shaft. In that type of arrangement, the shaft is the inner race of the bearing. If the shaft is worn or galled up, a new bearing will not last very long at all.

got a new shaft already but the dealer got me the wrong bearing so i can't put it back together The first ice race of the year is next sunday and the dealer says i won't get the bearing till feb. 11 which means I won't have the bike for the first 2 races. We race a yz and use the kdx for a back up so hopefully we wouldn't need it but it would suck big time if we did
What is the shaft in the picture from and what happened to it? it's really ugly
