Linkage/Swingarm Bearing Life?
I've read here before to check my lower shock bearing OFTEN to ensure it's still well greased....well I got lazy and didn't inspect it since I installed a new one a year ago. Needless to say it's in bad shape and so are my swingarm bearings. This is my first dirt bike so I'm not used to greasing swingarm and suspension bearings often. My bike is a 93 but I'm wondering if new bikes have better sealed bearings or is greasing and changing them constantly a fact of life with dirt bikes? I ride in wet muddy conditions pretty much every time I go out so I guess I just need to put in the work and re-grease everything 3 or 4 times a year.

can't escape it, gotta use good bearing grease (it does make a difference) and inspect often especially if you ride in the mud.
