Fork Spring question
I just put on a new set of Eibach fork springs today and noticed that they are about an inch and a half longer than the ones that were previously on my bike (Progressive Springs). I managed to use the old spacers that were already on the bike, but it's a tight fit now. Also when I compress the forks with everything bolted up, it makes a slight noise as if something were rubbing against something else, just wondering if that's normal (it did that even before the Eibach springs were put in). I have not ridden the bike yet, but I'll see how it goes tomorrow

Gonna have to cut those spacers down or make new ones from PVC

Yep... there are tricks to getting it right.
Turn the fork tubes onto the cap... not the opposite or you will get noise.
The Spacer should only have 5-8mm comression when fully seated.
I know people will say...well Kawasaki didn't do that.... yeah well they didn't get the frontend right either....

It will just be noisy and somewhat stiff from the beginning...
