Which wire to use for power for heated grips? Red or yellow?

Post by ihatefalling »

Installing heated grips. I don't have a multi-meter.

Still using stock stator, so I know I won't be able to heat grips and run lights at same time.

If using the wires coming off the light switch, would I splice into the red or yellow wire to get (constant) power for the grips?

Thanks......Impart wisdom if you got it

I'm guessing the yellow is where the power is coming from

The red is just coming from the regulator, I think
