I I was wondering if someone could tell me what what happens if I take the snorkel off of my 04 kdx200,and if I was to do this, is re-jetting necessary? I am new to the kdx but have been riding for many years.I would appreciate the help on this, forget the plastics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Removing the snorkel will uncork your KDX a bit and let it breath a little better. If you still have the stock pipe you won't have to rejet.

Maybe you won't if you're pretty close already.
The KDX is jetted quite rich for most applications/useage off the showroom floor. If being new to the KDX means you have not checked/tested the jetting in your bike, you're likely too rich with the snorkel off...as you were with the snorkel on.
Properly jetting your bike is the least expensive/most effective 'hop up' there is.
