RB Designs indeed rebuilds cranks. If I had to bet on a turnaround time, I'd sure put my money on him. Maybe it's just cuz they are big, but (fer instance) my cylinder was gone for over two months for a port/bore/plate job that was supposed to take a couple weeks max.

Granted...there was a third member involved with the replating..but that timeframe should be a considered issue by the point-of-service people when they say how much time is involved.

Have you watched anyone true a crank? My gosh!! It involves pounding on the thing with a hammer fer crine out loud!! Sorry...not for me!

Hey! If the man says RB...he means RB...not EG, 'eh?

If I ever need someone to beat on my KDX crank with a hammer...it's gonna be RB Designs!

Yep I've got the manual and I've also used BikeBandits micro fische to try and identify it to no avail.

Yes I have decided on sending out my crank to RB Designs. I emailed them with several questions and the answered them quickly and professionally. :supz:
