Been lurking on this site for nearly two years. Bought a beater 02 KDX 200 and this site has been an invaluable asset in getting it back together. With your help I've done the fork swap, replaced every bearing and worn part and except for the plastic it's nearly a new bike.........
Now for the bad part
I just went out and bought a new Husky WR300. If you ask me I'll be glad do a comparison after I get the jetting and suspension sorted but you might not want me to. I have no plans to sell the KDX but it's probably only going to be used as a spare.
As a way of trying to give back a little something to the site, I'll be glad to share an awesome riding area in western MD. Anyone who rides there is asked not to post it on the internet, but if you'll email or pm me I'll give you the contact info.
It's 4000+ acres of old mines and probaly well over a 100 miles of trails, they used to run a famous enduro there. It's $100/yr or $10/day to ride and that includes camping. A couple of weekends ago on a beautiful Sat afternoon I had the entire 4000 acres to myself.
