Intro From MT

Post by Sapphire »

Thought I better introduce myself, since I'm sure I'll be around for a while. Being new to the KDX I'll have LOTS of questions... you guys have already noticed that!

Anyhow, Father of a couple good girls, husband to a good wife, live in Billings, MT... dang near 40 yrs old... Love archery and bowhunting...

My first bike, an Italjet 50 was under the Christmas tree in 1976... went to an XR 75 from there, then an XR 80, then a 1975 CR 125 Elsinore... rode that for about 4 years...that bike Hauled ASS! :supz: and was UNGODLY loud!

Owned an 83' KX 125 for a short bit...it was no faster than the Elsinore, but was a lot quieter and had a MUCH better suspension. Sold it so I could buy my first truck (79' Chevy Luv 4X)....and for some F'ing reason...have not owned a bike since...about 24 years! What the hell was I thinking!

Got the 06' KDX 200 now and dont suspect there will be another day in my life I dont own a bike! My 8 yr old daughter Loves to ride her TTr90 and claims she'll be riding for life... Hopefully that is true.

Thanks for all your guys help and patience with my questions! :prayer:

and oh god the suspension was worthless... beings thats the last bike I really rode hard... it just amazes me what the stock suspension on this KDX does that everyone complains about so much.... This thing is awesome!
