Hi everybody,
Glad to see a new site up dedicated to the KDX. Allow me to introduce myself. Many of you from DRN already know a bit about me. I'm a typical country boy from the upper midwest. I grew up in Northern Wisconsin, and I currently live in Northern Minnesota. Like many of you, I am very much oriented to the outdoors and outdoor activities. I just started racing harescrambles this past summer, and I'm hoping to modify myself into a competitive machine over the winter. I am schooled in mechanical engineering and I'm just starting a new job as a Process Engineer at U.S. Steel's Minnesota Ore Operations.
I have a 1995 KDX 200 (my first bike), which I've had since I bought it in 2000 from my brother who bought it new in 1997. My bike is pretty heavily modified, and though I'm not quite through with the mods I want, it is quite a machine.
Summary of the major peformance mods I've done to this point:
Forward Motion (Eric Gorr) 225 big bore kit (mo better porting)
1994 KX125 fork swap
Pro Circuit 'Works' pipe, PC 'Factory' silencer, Cobra Sparky

I'm starting to feel an inferiority complex building in me. All these smart guys in engineering and computers. It does help me realize that if these educated riders choose the KDX, then I'm on to something good anyway.
Welcome aboard and get ready for enjoying a great site and watching it grow from it's beginning.

Welcome home, Lutz!!
Well...hope it works out that way.
If Inda hadn't gone and pissed okie off, maybe he could still use his PMs to tell people about this place.............;)
...I still think I should'a signed in here as 'Okiewan'. I could'a been the alter-ego to whatever his is 'over there'.
Which would've been the same thing as I already am....just a nice guy!!!
...thass'a joke, son!
