Great site  44 years old from eastern Canada. Figured it was time to throw myself back on a bike after a 15 year hiatus. Marriage, kids you know. Started with a XR 650 which is a good bike for its particular application. I guess the KDX I purchased was born from necessity. After a couple of outings with some riders on single track and an incident involving me picking the 650 up on a steep hill, 3 times in a row I swore I would have a 2 stroke in my stable. Within 2 weeks I was the proud owner of a 1994 KDX 250 with 4000km(2500 miles). Bike's top end has never been touched and it came with FMF pipe, silencer, moose bars and new grips. Had it out for a 8 hour run(extended test flight) and all I can say is #1 the motor did not fly apart( fouled only one plug),#2 will pull the front wheel in fourth,#3 puts a smile on my face every time I climb aboard.
