Great site you guys have here.
I'm 47 yrs old, have been racing MX the last few years and wanted to try some trail riding. I picked up a leftover 07 KLX250s, and promptly got hooked on single track.
It didn't take long for me to 'outgrow' the KLX. I love the bike, but it's just too heavy.
Enter the KDX. I figured they would handle similarly ( I was really happy with the way the KLX handled), but HOLY COW does this KDX handle! After some single track, and about a dozen laps on the MX track, I think I might park the race bike.
What a blast this thing is. It's so smooth, it's deceivingly fast. It felt like I was putting in a few leisurely laps, but it wasn't long before I was at race speed.
