Greetings and Salutations from CA!
Hi guys!
My love affair with the KDX started about three years ago with the purchase of my '02 KDX 220. It's my first bike and I have to say that even after all the abuse I've put it through, it has never let me down.
I race primarly AMA D37 events out in the mojave desert and all though she isn't fast, my bike will go just about anywhere I need to.
Now, I just need to get better at riding it!

Welcome, and enjoy! All you will ever need to know is right here. Hell, most of these guys can even give you riding lessons "online."
Thanks for the tip. I've been glued to this site ever since I found it. Now just to convince the mechanic that it's worth upgrading my green machine.

Welcome!
If you are ever up in NorCal, look me up. Better yet, drag your bike along and we'll have a great time!!
I had a really tricked out 220 myself. Check my gallery for photos of it. (Ignore the twisted frame photos. My son did that and he can't ride)

If you need to "convince" the mechanic, you need a new mechanic.
Don't get me wrong, I am new to riding and just got my first KDX over last summer and still have not been able to take 'er out yet. Yes, I have ridden two different KDX 200s but not on the trails. Mine is lowered so I will have better control in the woods when I do get to ride it. I just have such a hard time picking up the 200 when it is on the ground.
I am "learning" to work on my 200, and that is how I know that if you have to convince your mechanic, you need a new mechanic.

I love it up there although I haven't had a chance to ride up there yet.
