Hey from the Florida Panhandle
Hey All,
I have been looking for a KDX for a year or so to complement my Suzuki V-strom and picked up low hour 1998 220 in December.
I am not a racer, I just wanted a nice light trail bike, but a step above TTR's or CRF's.
Its not that great on the road, but as soon as I hit the dirt this bike has been perfect.
I come from a trials background and I am very pleased how well this bike even handles that kind of ridding.
Anyway here she is from last Sundays ride.

My dad had a Sherpa T in the 80's too. wish I could get a trials bike but they are so expensiveOgre wrote:Hey Scheckaet & Thanks Indawoods,
My last one was a Yamaha TY350 in the 90's, its been quite a few years without one.
Before that it was Montessa Cota's and Bultaco Sherpa T's in the 80's
I started out on a Honda TL125.
Yea, I love technical type stuff.

The bike was modified with a working brake light (rear only), the 2 light head light system (this is not really legal, but it has the "appearance" of a high & low beam) and 130W stator to run all that crap.
It was then "sold" to a buddy in Alabama.
It was titled & plated in Alabama as they did not require an original title, just a bill of sale.
I don't know if Alabama still allows this though.
Then it was "re-sold" back into Florida where the Alabama title was excepted and transferred to a Florida title.
