Golly Geez

Post by DirtRoller »

High guys, can I come here and play or is this just a site for the disbanded members of another web site?

I promise not to ask too many questions. Oops I already asked one.

If you do ask a question do you just get sent to the search option?

Oops that's another??

My name is Fred, and most of the time I like to help out if I can.
I love to ride in the woods, but I will settle for the desert in the winter.

If you live in my neck of the woods come and join us for a big group ride 3/5-6/05 at Superstition.

Hey Fred.... this playground doesn't have any bullys on it! There's already a lot of info on here but we won't send you to the corner and take your ball away. We like to have fun and share info... so ask away and WELCOME!

If I ever get up to your neck of the woods, you'll have a hard time making me leave. Forested tight twisty trails in the mountains, and you as my tour guide.
I have one trip plan this year and it's to AZ.
I just can't break past the 400 mile mark to travel for a bike ride.

All you have to do is make it a long trip then it works OK. Where in SoCal are you located? We go down there to the high desert (Ridgecrest, Lake Isabella) at least once a year to go riding.

I'm in San Diego. I went to Kennedy Meadows once, great riding there.
Ridgecreast that's mostly desert riding right? Never been there.
You can ride all the way to K. Meadows from Lake Isabella if you have a dual sport.
Is that where you ride when you do Lake Isabella?

My Grandparents have a house in Lake Isabella so we use that as home base when we're down there. I haven't had the chance to ride in Kennedy Meadows yet, hopefully i'll get a chance the next time i'm down there. When we ride in Isabella we normally ride in Keysville. Its close to the house (5 min) and has lots of trails of different skill levels so the kids can ride as well as us big kids  When we are not riding there we are generally riding over in Randsburg or Red Rock Canyon State Park, etc. This most recent trip we started at the bottom of Bird Springs pass on the Isabella side, rode up and over the pass and down and out thru the Bird Springs OHV area, across the highway in to the state park, then on thru to Randsburg. Then we had a few more hours of riding around there as well. :supz: That was a whole lot of fun.
