New member in Maine

Just purchased a 2001 220R. I used to own a 1982 250KDX back in the day. Traded the 250 for excavation services in the mid 90's. Have been mountain biking since. Maybe it's a mid-life crisis but I've been wanting to ride again. Loved my 250 so based on a little research I located the 220 and bought it last week. Planning on going through the whole thing, Piston, bearings, chain/sprockets, carb, shock, etc....

Not planning on racing, just want to get back out in the woods and smell some 2-stoke.

Really like the vibe of this group.

I went to school at Umaine Orono (quite some time ago). Wish I had my bike when I was there, as there must be great woods riding with all the paper company land. Anyhow, enjoy!
