Hi All,
This is my first Kawasaki and therefore my first KDX200H 1996, all ways wanted one back in the early to mid 80's, ended up with a Yamaha DT125, then a Cagiva RX125, until I then started car driving, got back into bikes when my son got his first Bike, Honda CR50, got myself a KTM SXF250 06, 2010 SXF 250, Husqvarna TE250 with 300 big bore kit 08 and finally recently got a Mint low hour KTMSX250 39Hrs, My son has had in this time a KTM SX65, KTM SX85, Honda CR125 02, Yamaha YZ250 2012.

Have Recently completed the complete rebuild on the SXF250 and a refurb on the Husqvarna TE250, both now sold to fund the SX250, so to move on from my previous bike history, I have now purchased a KDX200H 1996 with the purple tank, seat cover & side panels, not exactly to my taste, but the bike will be getting a full rebuild, I have yet to see the bike in person as bought online, my Nephew who lives locally did however look over the bike, just to make sure it was complete and started/run,selected gears etc, should be couriered to me on Friday/Saturday,
looking forward to receiving it, having a ride and shake down, then start the process of the restoration.........
Bike looks like it already has had a fork change, but I am not sure what they are, time will tell.

Will be looking for a good used Lime Green tank as first priority, as don't want to spend £400 plus on a new Kawasaki one Arghhhh ( thats a engine rebuild fund )

I will try to post regular updates on the restoration, as and when I can

Cheers Andy

Welcome.

Congratulations on the KDX.

Do check the chain tension, as it looks tight.
