Another one of those Oreegun guys

Post by firffighter »

I was referred to this site by a fellow Oregonian who rides a KDX. I am 36, wife, 4 kids, 3 bikes and a quad. We live 30 miles east of Portland in the charming town of Boring. I grew up riding and have had the spectrum of bikes from the old school minibikes to CR500. I bought my first KDX last winter and love its versitiliy. I mostly ride with my kids who are 10, 7, 5, and 18mo. We ride mostly trails, but we want to ride at the dunes as well. My bike is a '92KDX200, 500 original miles, FMF pipe/silencer, RB carb mod, Boyesen 607 reeds, air lid removed, 12/47 gearing, protapers with Fredette handguards, Moose pipe protector, and cool stickers. I look forward to getting all of your expert advice. Thanks.
